回归大传统：中国文明起源特性与神话学整合

文章立足中国本土文化的渊源与核心去探讨中国文化的＂大传统＂问题。首先从中国文明起源特性及影响,即从生产工具、血缘与地缘关系、城市的出现与功能等三方面论述了中国文明起源特点,及由此形成的中国文化特点：表现为最浓厚的＂信仰—仪式＂统一体和稳定共同体特色,具有连续性和整体性。而西方文明的发生是突破性的,社会科学里面那些从西方经验而来的一般法则不能有普遍的应用性。针对此,文章进一步论述了目前的中国考古学和神话学都没有充分发挥其学科优势来做相关研究。如何尽量回到上古文化语境去阐释出土器物,回归中国文化大传统———这成为中国考古学与神话学势必结合的理论根基和整合视野所在。

Back to Great Tradition：the Integration of Origin Features of Chinese Civilization and Mythology

This paper will,based on the origin and core of Chinese native culture,probe into problems about ＂the great tradition＂ of Chinese culture. The distinctive origin of Chinese Civi- lization and Chinese culture characterized with its unity of faith and rituals,stable community, continuity as well as integrity owns to the particular production tools,consanguinity and geog- raphy together with the emergence of cities and their functions. Being different from Chinese culture,the origin of western culture is a breakthrough. Therefore,general principles in social science about western culture may not be applicable to Chinese culture. Accordingly,this paper will also discuss related study fields overlooked by scholars in archeology and mythology. It suggests that great efforts should be made by those scholars to tradition of China to study objects unearthed,which will call for and mythology. go back to the great culture the integration of archeology.
