| Abstract: | The writer analyzes the origion of idoms and studies the simile and metaphor in them. Then, from the viewpoint of Semiotics, the writer states how to translate idioms to the target language to ensure the acceptability of the translation and stresses that it is crucial for a writer to incare his accomlishments in sevexal aspects in order to improve the effectiveness of the translation. |
