摘    要:琼斯矢量和琼斯矩阵是分析光束偏振态和光学元件时广泛使用的一种数学工具.本文将琼斯矢量和琼斯矩阵的矩阵元素从常量扩展为与方位角相关的变量,用以描述矢量光束和空间偏振转化器件.探讨了组合半波片和组合偏振片对基模高斯光束和螺旋光束的变换作用,提出了生成矢量光束的新方法和检测螺旋光束轨道角动量的新方法.

Matrix analysis for vector beams and spatial polarization converters

Abstract:Jones vector and Jones matrix are well known methods for analyzing the beam polarization and optical components. In this paper, the elements of Jones vector and Jones matrix are extended to parameters of azimuth so as to describe vector beams and spatial polarization converters. We study the transformation effects of segmented half-wave plates and segmented polarizers to fundamental Gaussian beam and helical beams. New methods are proposed to generate vector beams, and then new methods are proposed to check the orbital angular momentum of helical beams.
