摘    要:USB接口因具有高速、易用、热插拔及低成本等特点,已经成为计算机接口技术的主流;由于USB2.0在USB1.1基础上数据传输速率大大提高及功能更加完善,从而在实际实现中基于USB2.0协议的总线事件的检测和处理模块的设计变得异常复杂。文章提出了一种USB2.0整体构架方案,重点阐述对事件检测模块的设计和实现;对该模块进行电路的功能仿真、综合以及验证表明,在功能和时序上符合USB 2.0规范,达到预期目标。

Abstract:The Universal Serial Bus(USB) interface is a fast,low-cost,dynamically attachable serial interface that is consistent with the requirements of the PC platform of today and tomorrow.Compared with USB 1.1,the data transfer rate of USB 2.0 is highly enhanced,which makes the design of the event detection module far more complicated.In this paper,the structure of the USB 2.0 device controller is introduced first,and then the design and implementation of the event detection module are described in detail.The results of RTL-level simulation,gate-level simulation and FPGA emulation indicate that the whole design meets the requirement of the USB 2.0 specification in the aspects of timing and function.
