电子地图中多级符号的设计

为了更好地反映地物形态随比例尺变化的规律及改善地图的显示效果,文章以普通电子地图为研究对象,针对电子地图显示介质和显示内容的特殊性,总结了多级符号设计的原则,并以此为依据设计了一套完整的多级符号。经过试验,多级符号的显示取得了较好的效果,为读图者提供了更符合视觉规律的读图环境。

Design of multi-level symbols in electronic maps

In order to show the changeable feature and shapes on electronic maps that change with the map scale and improve the display effects of ordinary electronic maps,the paper summarizes the design rules for multi-level symbols and provides a set of multi-level symbols for all kinds of electronic maps.The obtained results show that the designed multi-level symbols are very suitable for map display and provide map-readers with a map-reading environment that agrees with human visual perception rules.
