笔记辨体与笔记小说研究

“笔记小说”是中国古代小说文体中备受争议的研究对象。该概念提出伊始，即因界定不科学、运用不规范而造成了一定的混乱。鉴于“新笔记小说”兴起，因而否定乃至取消“笔记小说”的做法，并不符合文学发展规律和小说研究的需要。梳理笔记小说研究史，科学界定概念，区分其与笔记及其他小说文体的关系，明确其文体特征，限定其收录范围，确立笔记小说的文体独立地位，对于推进笔记和小说的研究，均十分必要。

A Study on Jotting Genre and Jotting-style Narrative

＂Jotting-style Narrative＂ is the most controversial topic in the research of Chinese ancient fictional styles. Ever since ＂Jotting-style Narrative＂ made its debut, confusions have been aroused due to its inappropriate definition and improper applica- tion. Due to the rise of ＂New Note-style Narrative＂, it is not rational to deny or cancel the former one, as it does not accord with the development of literary practice nor meet the need of novel studies. Accordingly, it is quite imperative to sort the histo- ry of ＂Jotting-style Narrative＂, to examine its definition in a scientific manner and to differentiate ＂Jotting-style Narrative＂ in relation to diary jotting tales and other fictional genres. Moreover, it is also essential to clarify its stylistic characteristics, to lim- it the scope of ＂jotting-style Narrative＂ and to establish the unique status of ＂Jotting-style Narrative＂. In this way, the study of ＂Jotting-style Narrative＂ is to be promoted.
