| Abstract: | This paper explains some assessing problems about the pronunciation of falling\|to\|with falling\|tone disyllable words in the \%Pu\|tonghua\% (modern standard Chinese pronunciation) Proficiency Test, which are caused by the uncertainty of high\|to\|middle\|tone pattern disyllables. For this purpose, the author has selected a list of such disyllable words from the Outline of the \%Putonghua\% Proficiency Test for testers and testees' reference. |
