Abstract:he analogue of Orr-Sommerfele equation is derived for two-layer generalized Newtonian fluids. Based on this equation,the stability of such fluid flowing dwon an inclined plane under gravity is studied. The critical Renolyds number is given for several fluids and its stability is analysed.
