摘    要:为澄清有关生命建筑的概念,通过文献分析,将生命建筑定义为:以集感知、信号处理与控制及执行元件为一体的智能材料结构系统为基础,以仿生学、人工智能和系统控制为指导,给传统的建筑结构赋予生命,使之能够以生物界的方式感知建筑物内部状态和外部环境的变化,并及时做出准确的判断和反应,从而进行充分的自我修复和保护,最大限度地减少自然灾害的损失。它可使传统的建筑结构由不变的、无智能的和无生命的向可变的、有智能和有

Abstract:Vital building, a recently developed cross new research subject at home and abroad, is based on the intelligent material system and structure which includes sensing, signal disposal, controlling and executing element and so on. At the same time, it is guided by the bionics, artificial intelligence and system control, thus taking effort to make the traditional building structure living. It wants to make building sensing the change of internal state of the structure and external environment by the way of living being, then it can judge and make a response correctly by itself in time, and carry on self repair and self protection fully, so that the damage of the building resulting from the natural calamity can be decreased by maximum extent. It develops the traditional building from non changeable,non intellective, non vital to changeable ,intellective and vital, so it produces tremendous influence on science and has wide promising engineering utilization. A brief introduction to the concept of vital building and its connotation is put forward in the beginning. The fundamental principle of vital building and its application in engineering, which is the focus of present research and application on vital building, are discussed in detail.
