| Abstract: | The great contribution of Dr. Joseph Needham(1900-1995) to China lies in the fact that he made the science and technology in ancient .and medieval China are accepted in a worldwide academic circles. Chinese government and Chinese people give him not only moral support but also moneyed. Without these helps and those who cooperated with him in the past 50 years, there may not be his monumental project SCC (Science and Civilization in China). |
