| Abstract: | The paper describes the characteristics, principle conditions and the results of liquid carbon dioxide applied to expanding tobacco. The investigation proves that firstly, the tobacco is impregnated with liquid carbon dioxide.Then the liquid carbon dioxide contained in the tobacco is converted to solid carbon dioxide.At the end the tobacco is expanded by sublimating and thus liberating the solid carbon dioxide. |
