| 摘 要： | 徐寿和徐建寅、徐华封父子是近代中国等名的科技专家。他们出生于无锡,长期在南京、上海、安庆、武汉等地工作,对我国近代化学、兵器、火药、造船等方面,都作出了重要的贡献。他们创办格致书院,出版《格致汇编》,大量翻译和撰写科技书籍和文章,毕生致力于传播科技知识,培育科技人才,对我国近代科技、教育、文化事业的发展,起了重大的推动作用。
