Application of Kacigin-Guskov's Bearing and Shearing Formulas to Soft Soil

Little attention has been given K-G formulas as to whether really applicable to soft soil. To solve this, approaches and modification are made to the well-known formulas with its approximate accuracy improved. Experiments and study show that the modified K-G formulas are applicable to the soft soil. This is beneficial to the study of interaction between construction machinery and soft soil.
