| Abstract: | The two branches of beauty are women's beauty" and "looks". Lust for women is the basic instinct. A gentleman should pursue virtue just as aspiring after beauty. Avoiding too much attractiveness by beauty is a higher level of human nature. A right attitude toward beauty is both a virtue and consciousness of human nature. The theory of beauty does have a place in Confucianism and does have an important epochal value as well. |
