| Abstract: | Numerical method of steady rolling contact problem of a viscoelastic cylinder isstudied in the paper. The problem is treated by a variational inequality equationwhich is derived from the rolling contact condition. Based on the equation, finiteFourier transformation technique and finite element method are used to solve thenumerical solution of the problem. An practical example is analyzed. |
