岭南地区腰坑习俗浅探

通过对岭南腰坑墓的分布、分期及相关特点的研究,认为岭南腰坑葬俗是在湘地越人南迁这一大背景下产生的,它源自楚崛起之前的中原文化。随着楚国的崛起、楚文化的南渐,湘地越人转徙岭南,并将这一葬俗带到岭南,流传开来。岭南的腰坑墓有自己独特的分布特点。腰坑在用途上与该地古葬俗有密切的关系,反映的是岭南土著居民对这一葬俗的认同。

Investigation of the Waist Pits Burial Custom in the Lingnan Area

It is argued that the burial custom of waist pits in Linguan appeared under the background of the southward migration of the Yue People in Hunan, and it originated from the culture of the Central Plain before the establishment of the Chu Kingdom. The Chu culture gradually moved towards south as Yue people in Hunan migrated to Lingnan. They brought the burial custom into Lingnan and it gradually spread throughout the area. Waist pits displayed special features in their distribution. The function of the Waist pits is closely related to the ancient burial custom, which reflects the acceptance of the custom by the aborigines in Lingnan.
