大学英语教学中礼貌语用原则的运用

摘    要:大学英语教学的实质是深层意义教学,教师应从宏观的角度出发,对课文进行深入分析、理解和概括,揭示文意中的语用策略,特别是礼貌原则的运用,在传授语言知识、培养语言能力同时,训练学生获取完整信息的能力和语言的交际能力。把礼貌语用原则运用于大学英语教学中,根据G.N.Leech对“礼貌原则”给出的六条准则,对课文进行语用分析可以促进学生正确理解篇章内涵,提高学生的语言运用能力。

Abstract:As the essence of teaching English in the university involves the teaching of deep-level meaning,it is necessary to adopt a macroscopic point view in the analyses,understanding and summary of the text in order to reveal the pragmatic principle in the context,especially the use of polite principle.In this way the teacher could obtain the objectives of not only teaching language knowledge and improve language competence,but also training the learners' ability to grasp the general message of the text as a whole while improving their communicative competence.The application of the polite principle to the pragmatic analyses of the text in accordance with the six maxims proposed by G.N.Leech helps to strengthen the correct understanding of the connotations as well as to improve the pragmatic competence of the learners.
