| 摘 要： | 通过对大量的语料分析，从概念隐喻的角度进一步证实了颜色词“红”在英汉语中存在共性与个性。共性有：受欢迎、革命、共产主义、成功、旺盛、害羞、救助、色情、危险、生气等。英语特有的概念隐喻投射有负债、被抓现行等三种情况，汉语特有的概念隐喻投射有红利、婚礼、美貌的女子等五种情况。

| Abstract: | This article further confirms commonalities and uniqueness of a color - describing word ＂red＂ in both English and Chinese from the angle of conceptual metaphors. The specific mapping of conceptual metaphor in English includes three cases like liability and being caught on spot; the specific mapping in Chinese involves five cases, such as dividend, marriage and women beauty. |
