| 摘 要： | 华裔美国作家哈金的长篇小说《战争垃圾》获得了很大的成功，除了因为哈金独具慧眼的选材角度和独具一格的创作风格之外，更重要的是它以回忆录的方式，向读者展示了一部朝鲜战争战俘的创伤史。以创伤理论的角度来分析小说主人公所经历、所见证的创伤以及创伤愈合过程，最终揭露出这场战争的虚伪、荒谬以及对人性的扭曲和摧残。

| Abstract: | Chinese born American writer Ha Jin has impressed fans all over the world with his new novel War Trash with the PEN Faulkner Award and the US National Book Award. The novel not only shows Ha Jin＇ s insightful perspective of selecting writing material and his unique writing style, but also reveals a POW＇ s traumatic battlefield experience during the Korean War. Through a close reading of the text War Trash, this thesis applies trauma theory to analyze the traumas the protagonist experienced and witnessed during the war and the process of working through trauma, with the final aim of revealing the war＇ s hypocrisy, absurdity and distortion and the devastation it brings to the human nature. |
