| Abstract: | This paper takes account of the combined effect on virtual effective diameter due to the several cases of flank angle deviation and pitch deviation in unsymmetrical triangular screw threads.By the use of the displacing enveloping drawing method, a set of exact formulae for calculating the virtual pitch diameter is deduced and verified by measured data. This set of formulae fits for use also in symmetrical triangular screw threads. |
