| Abstract: | A method of measuring the transmissibility of anti-vibration gloves is described. The transmissibility of the gloves and the effects of some factors on it have been investigated. The results show that the anti-vibration gloves can significantly reduce the transmission of high frequency vibration from handle to the hand and protect the operator's health and that the glove isolation effectiveness is depedent not only on material characteristics, thikhness and size, but also on relevant physical characteristics of the operator, operating posture, hand gripe force and push force. |
