旋风分离器分离性能的经验模型与数值预测

摘    要:利用雷诺应力输运模型对Stairmand高效旋风分离器的气相流场进行数值模拟,在此基础上对旋风分离器的分离效率、压力损失进行了研究,得出了不同条件下旋风分离器的分离性能,同时利用Barth,Iozia&Leith,Shepherd&Lapple,Cacal&Martinez,Dirgo,Coker经验公式计算了该旋风分离器的分级效率和压力损失,并分别和实验数据进行了比较.结果表明,Barth经验公式在计算直径为305mm的Stairmand旋风分离器时的分级效率与实验数据吻合较好;而Iozia&Leith经验公式能准确地计算直径为152mm的Stairmand旋风分离器的分级效率;Cacal&Martinez及Dirgo经验模型计算的压力损失和实验数据吻合较好.另一方面,数值预测的分级效率和实验数据基本一致,而且预测的压力损失误差在5%以内.研究结果还表明,应用计算流体动力学来研究旋风分离器的分离性能方便且可行.

Abstract:The gas flow fields of Stairmand high efficiency cyclone separators were simulated using Reynolds stress transformation model. Based on this, separation efficiencies and pressure drops of these cyclone separators were studied. Separation performances under different conditions were presented, and the predicted separation performances were compared with those from presented empirical models and experimental data. The results indicate: for cyclone separator with the diameter of 305 mm, the calculated separation efficiency from Barth empirical model is in good agreement with the experimental data, and for cyclone separator with diameter of 152 mm, the Iozia & Leith empirical model can accurately calculate its separation efficiency. The calculated pressure drops from Cacal & Martinez and Dirgo empirical model are in good agreement with the experimental data. On the other hand, the predicted separation efficiencies are in agreement with the experimental data for both cyclone separators by and large, and the error of predicted pressure drop is less than 5%. The results also show that it is feasible and cheap to investigate cyclone separator's separation performance by means of computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
