| Abstract: | In this paper, spline finite element method and the incremental iteration with initial stiffness are applied to nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete slabs. A technique for accelerating the convergence is presented. Compared with the ordinary finite element analysis, the suggested method can obtain the results with higher accuracy by less computer time and memories. |
