CONTEMPLATION OF ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION AT THE TURN OF CENTURY

The theory and the practice of the sustainable development have become the major topic in environmental education at the turn of century. This paper firstly retraces the history of the world environmental education. Based on the necessity of realizing the harmonization between man and nature and the sustainable development from the global aspect, the paper delves further into carrying out environment education and aims to provide service for economic, social and ecological sustainable development.
