摘    要:提出一种新的基于边缘检测的图像融合方法.该方法利用Canny算子进行边缘检测,将边缘检测图像的逻辑值与小波变换进行结合.在小波变换域内,对低频和高频子图像采用区域融合的方法.最后,进行小波逆变换得到融合图像.通过主观评价和包括熵、均方根误差、峰值信噪比和互信息等客观评价标准进行评价,结果表明,基于边缘检测的图像融合方法融合效果较好,对于模糊部分不同的源图像进行融合具有一定的通用性.

Abstract:A novel image fusion method based on edge detection is proposed.The method makes use of logical value of edge detection based on Canny operator and in combination with wavelet transform algorithm.In wavelet domain,the region fusion method is applied to fuse source images in low-frequency and high-frequency sub-images.Finally,the fused image is reconstructed by inverse wavelet transform.According to subjective evaluation and objective criteria,such as entropy,root mean square error(RMSE),peak-to-peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR),mutual information(MI),the proposed strategy is very effective and universal to some extent,especially for the source image which has de-focus in different parts,through extensive experiments.
