| 摘 要： | 自由教育是西方教育的传统。哈佛大学本科教育理念自19世纪以来发生了很大的变化，但是，哈佛大学的本科教育理念仍然继承了自由教育的传统。哈佛大学对西方教育传统的继承决非简普的继承，而是熔铸进时代的精神。传统与创新的有机统一，是哈佛大学长盛不衰的机理。

| Abstract: | Liberal education is the tradition of Western education. There has been great change in Harvard undergraduate education ideas. But Harvard inherit the tradition of liberal education.On the basis of inheritance, Harvard has caught the spirit of the time. Organic unification of tradition and innovation is mechanism of Harvard prosperity. |
