在给出嵌入式系统实时性概念基础上，分析了在嵌入式系统中所运行任务的一般特点和Linux通用内核的实时机制，在肯定Linux的实时性性能的同时，指出了将其应用于嵌入式系统时所存在的不足，在分析目前提高Linux实时性的各种改进方法的基础上，提出了一种新的非常有效且可行的提高Linux实时性的思想及实现方法，并对改进的结果进行了分析．这为Linux在嵌入式系统中的应用提供了一种新的方法．

A New Method for Enhancing the Real-time Capability of Linux

In this paper the concept of "real-time" in embedded system is given, On the basis of this concept , the general features of the tasks run in embedded system and the real-time mechanism under standard Linux kernel are analyzed . While affirming the real-time performance of Linux ,Its disadvantage when applied to embedded system is pointed out ; while analyzing different kinds of current techniques used to improve its real-time performance , a new effective method capable of improving the realtime performance of Linux is presented and the result of improvement is analyzed , It provides a new method for Linux using embedded system.
