| Abstract: | The phase relationships and glass-forming mechanism of Ce-Al-Cu(Cu-poor part)alloys were studied by means of X-ray diffraction(XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).According to the phase relationships of as-cast alloys in the ternary Ce-Al-Cu system,it was found that the metallic glass forming compositions concentrated manly in 3 three-phase regions,namely,CeAl+Ce3Al+Ce2AlCu2,Ce3Al+Ce2AlCu2+CeCu,Ce3Al+CeCu+Ce.And the compound of Ce3Al was shared by the three-phase regions.An analysis of the metal... |
