上世纪末以后，基于Web的信息系统在促进电子商务发展方向所表现出来的对于组织获取竞争优势的作用，引起了学者和企业的关注。从信息系统的发展过程出发，阐述了传统信息系统变革的动因，介绍了基于Web的信息系统的结构与要素以及基于Web的信息系统的规划方法，并讨论了Web仓库的概念及其应用。

WEB-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEMS:NEW APPROACHES TO INFORMATION ACQUISITION AND DECISION SUPPORT

This phenomenon of information systems as agents of organizational competitive advantage received a big boost at the end of the last century when Web-based information systems started enabling the current rage of e-commerce and e-business. WIS has recently received considerable attention. Starting from the evolution of information systems, this paper introduces the reason of the innovation on conventional information systems. It describes the structure and factors of Web-based information systems and a generic WIS planning framework of WIS. At last it discusses the concept and applications of Web warehouse-the combination of data warehouse and Web technology.
