摘    要:蜂窝无线系统中多媒体业务的发展,要求对用户传输速率进行有效的控制,以充分利用频谱资源。针对多速率系统,提出了一种新的联合功率与速率控制迭代算法。对于可行系统,它能够在获得最大吞吐量的同时最小化所消耗的功率。仿真结果表明,在可行系统中算法的能量消耗性能优于Kim S.L.提出的选择功率控制算法;在不可行系统中,吞吐量和能量消耗性能均优于选择功率控制算法。

Abstract:The development of multimedia services in forthcoming cellular radio systems requires effective control of the transmission rate of users, so that the spectrum resources can be utilized efficiently. In this paper, a new joint power and rate control algorithm is proposed for multi-rate cellular radio systems. In feasible systems it attains the maximum throughput with minimum transmission powers. Simulations results show that the power consumption performance of the proposed algorithm is better than Selective Power Control (SPC) algorithm in feasible systems. In infeasible systems, both of its throughput and power consumption performance exceed those of SPC.
