Abstract:Unmanned swarm is one of the development trends in the future. It requires a reliable and stable communication network to achieve internal interconnection and intercommunication, and to provide effective information transmission channels for complex swarm operations. To form this network, a network architecture that meets the characteristics and demands of the swarm is the key point. This paper first proposed a fully distributed software defined network (DSDN) architecture suitable for unmanned swarm, and demonstrated its advantages of being fully distributed, centerless, strong real time, dynamically architected, and highly scalable. Secondly, this paper introduced the advantages of DSDN architecture in networking of unmanned swarm system and interconnection with existing systems. Finally, taking the delay tolerant network (DTN) in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarm as an application example, this paper introduced the application of this architecture in unmanned swarm system, and verifies the effectiveness of the architecture.
