Abstract:Core-shell structure of Au/C nanoparticles and silica coated Au/C nanoparticles(Au/C/SiO2 NPs) were prepared by dehydration technique and hydrolysis.Hollow silica nanoparticles with a shell thickness of 20 nm and with movable Au cores inside(Au/air/SiO2 NPs) were further obtained by calcinating carbon shell within Au/C/SiO2 NPs in the air.The morphologies of those obtained nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and its structure was characterized by IR spectroscopy,ultraviolet spectrophotometer and EDX measurement.Good-quality SERS spectra of 5-fluorouracil on this Au/air/SiO2 NPs were observed.
