四川省蝗虫一新属及一新种(直翅目:蝗总科)

记述1992年在四川省凉山地区进行蝗虫调查时发现的蝗虫新属彝蝗属Yiacris及新种蓝翅彝蝗Yiacris cyaniptera。

A NEW GENUS AND A NEW SPECIES OF GRASSHOPPER FROM SICHUAN PROVINCE (ORTHOPTERA:ACRIDOIDEA)

In the present paper, a new genus and a new species of grasshopper from Sichuan Province are described. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University. Yiacris gen. nov. Size large. Fastigium of vertex narrow and long, reaching about three fifths of the length of the eye! the top of fastigium sharp angular. Foveola absent- Frontal ridge narrowly, below the median ocel very widened towards the clypeus. Antennae filiform. The lateral keels of pronotum only distinct in the prozona and parallel, in the metazona they are practically absent or indistinct; the length of metazona longer than prozona; posterior margin of pronotum nearly rounded, with a shallow concave in the middle. Metasternal lobes separated widely. Elytra and wings well developed, reaching the middle of hind tibiae. Hind femora long and slender, upper keel with fine teeth, and terminating into a small sharp tooth; lower kneelobe rounded. Hind tibiae without apical spine. Type species: Yiacris cyanpptera sp. nov. This new genus is allied to Formosacris Willemse, it differs from the latter in: (l)Fastigium of vertex longer, reaching about three fifths of the length of the eye; (2) the top of fastigium sharp angular; (3) elytra reaching the middle of hind tibiae; (4) metasternal lobes wide separte; (5) size larger. Yiacris cyaniptera sp. nov. (figs. 1 - 3) General coloration dark brown. In profile, head and lateral lobe of pronotum with longitudinal dark brown and yellow brown stripes alternately. Elytra dark brown, with a row of dark speckles in median area, radius vein yellow. Basal part of wing blue, apical part light smoke color, longitudinal vein black. Hind tibiae yellow, basal and middle part black. Male unknown. Length of body: 40 - 41mm; length of elytra; 38 - 42mm; length of hind femur: 22 - 23mm.
