Adaptive Fuzzy Control of Automatic Bit Feeding Simulation Loading Test

An automatic bit feeding simulation loading system was developed. It is a time variant time lag nonlinear system. Therefore, the control of simulation loading subsystem and simulation bit feeding subsystem is important to the simulation test. Adaptive fuzzy control was applied to simulation loading subsystem, which can tract real weight on bit, and provide load condition for the study of optimum weight on bit automatic bit feeding technology. The test result shows that the adaptive fuzzy control has a good tracking control characteristic, and that the control algorithm given in the paper has versatility.
