| Abstract: | This paper deals with synthesis, modifications, formulation and properties of a class of chemical additive for enhancing viscous oil recovery by steam injection. The factors which affect the properties of the additives have been investigated systematically. The method and resusts of the simulated test of hot water flooding with the additives are also reported. |
