| Abstract: | On the bases of the study of the state of the arts of nanocomposites and strengthening and toughening of nanocomposite ceramics, processes in nanocomposite ceramics with alumina matrix together with strengthening and toughening mechanisms are mainly discussed. A good prospect of the nanointermetallics toughening alumina ceramic is proposed. |
