摘    要:在利用离散傅里叶变换(DFT)对数值化映射后的基因序列进行频谱分析中,DNA序列信号频谱3周期性被认为是用来区分编码区和非编码区的一个重要特征。给出推广后的频谱信噪比(SNR)定义,该定义具有更广的适用性并且适合快速计算;对不同种类生物基因的编码和非编码区域的信噪比进行计算和统计分析,在此基础上提出3种分类阈值确定方法;对影响信噪比和阈值确定的因素,以及基于3周期性的基因识别方法正确率的局限性等也做了较深入的统计分析

Abstract:The 3-periodicity obtained by direct Fourier transform(DFT)is well acknowledged as an important feature that can be used for distinguishing gene coding regions of a DNA sequence.An extended definition of signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)was presented.The statistical analysis of coding/non-coding regions of genes from different species was carried out and three methods for determining the clasification ihreshold value were proposed.Furthermore,the influencing factors of SNR and the determination of threshold value,and the limitations of gene prediction based on the 3-base periodicity are analyzed.
