摘    要:预编码辅助空间调制(pre-coding aided spatial modulation,PSM)通过激活接收天线的索引在空间域中传输信息比特。将接收天线选择(receive antenna selection,RAS)技术引入到PSM系统中,可以提高PSM系统的性能。在传统的PAS算法中,穷举搜索算法的系统性能最优,但穷尽搜索会导致其计算复杂度较高;快速RAS算法的计算复杂度较低,但其系统性能较差。因此,针对PSM系统的RAS算法,需要寻找一个折中的方案以适用于实际的通信系统。通过利用信道矩阵的最大和最小特征值(maximum and minimum eigenvalue,MME),设计了MME-RAS算法。分析和仿真结果表明,该算法相比于快速RAS算法计算复杂度略有提升,但可以使系统性能提高1 dB左右;相比于穷举搜索算法可以使计算复杂度降低70%以上,并且其系统性能接近于穷举搜索算法。

Abstract:Pre-coding aided spatial modulation (PSM) transmits information bits in the spatial domain by activating an index of the receiving antenna. The introduction of receive antenna selection (RAS) technology into the PSM system can improve the performance of the PSM system. In the traditional receiving antenna selection algorithm, the system performance of the exhaustive search algorithm is optimal, but its computational complexity is high due to exhaustive search; the computational complexity of the fast RAS algorithm is low, but its system performance is poor. Therefore, for the receive antenna selection algorithm of the PSM system, it is necessary to find a compromise solution to be applied to the actual communication system. In this paper, the MME-RAS algorithm is designed by using the maximum and minimum eigenvalue (MME) of the channel matrix. The analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm has a slightly higher computational complexity than the fast RAS algorithm, but can improve the system performance by about 1dB. Compared with the exhaustive search algorithm, the computational complexity can be reduced by more than 70%, and its system performance is close to the exhaustive search algorithm.
