摘    要:在多用户室内可见光通信系统中,保证分布于室内不同位置的多个用户获得相近的通信质量,即改善室内信噪比(signal to noise ratio,SNR)分布均匀性是当前可见光通信领域的研究热点.分析了当前方案的不足,并从2个方面对其进行改进,针对布局提出在天花板中心处增加一个发光二极管(light emitting diode,LED),在此基础上,根据LED位置,引入遗传算法对每个LED的功率进行优化分配.结果表明,改进后SNR波动幅度由2.52 dB减小到0.49 dB,同时,方差由0.38 dB降低到0.02 dB,SNR分布均匀性得到明显改善.此外,还将系统中的单个LED换成LED阵列,说明改进方法对于使用大功率的LED阵列的系统,同样能够明显改善其SNR均匀性.

Abstract:In the field of visible-light communication, it has aroused a lot of research interests recently that how to provide almost the identical communication quality to multi-user at different places in the room, which means how to reduce SNR fluctuation and make it uniform. In this paper, we investigated and analyzed a recently proposed SNR uniformity optimization scheme firstly, and then we modified it in two aspects after analyzing its defects. On one hand, another LED is added into the center of ceiling on condition that the total power of LEDs keeps same. On the other hand, according to their locations we adjust the power of each LED based on Genetic Algorithm. The result of numerical simulation shows that as for the same VLC system, the mean value of SNR keeps almost the same while the fluctuation decreases from 2.52dB to 0.49dB as well as the variance reduces from 0.38 dB to 0.02 dB, which indicates that the uniformity of SNR has been improved significantly. In addition, we also apply the modified scheme to the system with LED array and then assure it remains improving the uniformity of SNR.
