摘    要:介绍一个COBOL软件测试环境COSTE系统的组成结构、主要功能和特点.该系统采用了弱变异、程序插装、测试数据自动生成等一些独特的软件测试技术,可以完成对COBOL程序的静态分析和动态测试,提供关于被测软件的程序特性和异常信息,以夏动态测试结果和结构覆盖信息,并可以根据覆盖情况和结构覆盖准则,自动生成补充的测试数据。以期更好地逼近结构覆盖要求,辅助用户更有效地进行软件维护工作.

Abstract:A COBOL software testing environment, COSTE, is introduced in the paper, including its framework, main functions, and characteristics. The system utilizes some special software testing techniques such as weak variation, probe insertion and automatic producing of test data. It can make static analyzing and dynamic testing to COBOL programs, provides program characteristic information, abnormal information, dynamic testing results, and structural coverage information. To approach the requirement of structural coverage, it can also produce complementary test data automatically according to the rule and information of structural coverage. Users can maintain COBOL software more efficiently by the aid of COSTE.
