| Abstract: | The linear gradient loaded column of gas chromatography has been designed. The chromatographic performance of these columns has been evaluated with respect to column efficiency,resolution and analytical time. Both the case of a linear increase in k' and the case of a linear decrease in k' down the column have been treated theoretically and experimentally from the viewpoint of analytical time. Equations have been derived theoretically and vexified experimentally. The application of linear gradient loaded columns has been studied. |
