| 摘 要： | 研究了在图像分析和识别中，直接从顶点链编码计算封闭边界所围区域面积的方法，并用该方法对正方形、正三边形和正六边形点阵中区域面积进行了计算．结果表明，顶点链编码计算封闭边界所围区域面积的方法简单易行，且运算速度快．

| Abstract: | The area surrounded by object contour in digital images plays an important role in image analysis and pattern recognition. The vertex-chain-code is a powerful tool in image processing to evaluate region areas. For the digital images in square, triangular and hexagonal lattices, the methods of calculating region areas from vertex-chain-code of the region boundaries are formulated respectively. |
