Abstract:In this paper a class of stiffly stable second derivative multistep of the same accuracy, its absolute stability region is larger than that of Enright's 1 and Cnakravarti's Method 2. The general linear k-step methods of k+2 order are given, Their coefficients are easily generated in the computer. Such methods arc papropritae for sloving stiff systems.
