基于局部特征的点模式指纹匹配算法

近年来以指纹匹配为代表的身份识别技术受到越来越广泛的运用.因为其具有的学术和社会价值,指纹识别技术成为一个研究的热点.为了克服指纹的旋转和平移在指纹匹配中的影响,提出了一种新的指纹特征描述方法.因为指纹中心点附近的方向场存在某种特定的规律,运用这种规律本文根据指纹图像的方向场提取指纹图像的参考点和参考方向,并以参考点为原点,参考方向为极轴建立极坐标系.根据指纹参考点和参考方向的唯一性,本文建立的极坐标系与指纹图像的旋转和平移无关.由特征点的类型,极坐标以及特征点的方向构成的指纹特征信息同样具有这样的特性.最后对存在平移和旋转关系的两幅指纹的特征信息运用可变大小的限界盒方法进行全局匹配实现指纹匹配算法.实验结果表明该算法能够有效地避免图像的平移和旋转对指纹匹配带来的影响,可以很好的满足实际应用的要求.
