| Abstract: | This paper presents an overview on some new approaches of the mechanical behaviors of metallic materials. The strain rate effect on the bulk material and the surface characteristic by mechanical treatment are emphasised. Self made equipment helped us to discover those new mechanical aspects which had not revealed before. |
