| Abstract: | Geographic information system (GIS) technology is an important tool in geography research and it can have a great effect on geography development, another important aspect is that GIS technology is an enormous potential market . This paper presents the application prospects and industrialization basis of GIS by analyzing the character and functions of GIS technology, discussing the problems of GIS industry development today and giving some suggestions on GIS industry and its market development of China. |
