| 摘 要： | 习语最能反映出一个民族或一种文化的特色。悲伤是人类最基本的情感之一,以悲伤习语为研究对象,从隐喻的角度对比分析英汉习语中表达悲伤的隐喻的异同,从而能够帮助英语学习者更好的理解汉英习语的表达及其意义,这对提升英语教学,促进跨文化研究都具有积极的启示和指导意义。

| Abstract: | Idioms can best reflect the characteristics of a nation or a culture.Sadness is one of the most basic human emotions.With idioms on sadness as the study subject,this paper attempts to compare and analyze the differences and similarities of metaphor in Chinese and English idioms on sadness from the perspective of cognitive metaphor.Such a study is expected to be helpful for the English learners to understand better the meanings and significance of Chinese and English idioms so as to improve the effect of English teaching,and promote cross-cultural research. |
