Construction and analysis of an index system for assessing the ethnic unity in the minority areas of western China

According to the relevant research items(variables) of urban residents of western China in CGSS2013 database,the paper chooses the survey items(variables) to construct a comprehensive,scientific and operable index system for assessing the ethnic unity and social harmony in the minority areas of western China. It is a quantitative evaluation of the progress of the construction of a harmonious society in the minority areas of western China so as to improve the local government's scientific administration and management of social affairs.
