| Abstract: | The synthesis of a sulphonated maleic anhydride-acrylic acid (SMAA) copolymera kind of scale inhibitor has been studied. The mechanism of SMAA in CaCO_3 inhibition and the effect of the parameters of sulphonation process on the inhibition rate A% are discussed. |
