| Abstract: | NS2（Network Simulator Version 2） is one of network simulation softwares which is widely used in network research fileds.As an aided teaching tool,it has been widely used in the network teaching fileds.As an open source software,it lacks the ability to simulate some latest developed algorithms.The thesis analyzes the simulation process,the architecture and function of the NS2 simulator.For example,an new active queue management BLUE algorithms is added in the NS2,focuses on the principle and implementation of NS2 function expansion.Finally the BLUE algorithm performance is tested through network simulation and compared with the existing RED algorithm. |
